Overall, I was very pleased with the outcome^^ There are parts I wished I could have done better but yes. Very happy about how this turned out.

This pic was an art trade :3 He requested something from me (nearly a year and a half ago...) so I requested I get a drawing from him too :3

= Pre CG: The Sketch =
A year and a half ago, I had the drawing done (it's a completely different drawing to this cg now). Back then, outlining it seemed like a heck of a job but eventually I found outlining wasn't so hard. However by that stage my style had changed greatly so what I thought was a decent drawing was actually quite...horrible in my opinion. So I redrew and that was around October 2006... I worked on this cg from time to time for 3 months. Chose night-time scene mainly because of the vampire but also because I haven't had much practice in that area.

= Fantasy Creature/chara Choice =
Hmm... I don't have much to say about my choice of creatures. They were the only ones which appealed to me. Fairy (?), vampire and an elf. Mini phoenix was added by extra request from Matthew, even though I can't draw birds XD Yes they are all female (or at least...supposed to be).

= Title =
Thank you Aaron (A2? Lol, you need to get a devart account too D< ) for suggestions with the title!! I believe it it is supposed to be fairy and vampire in latin and elf in swedish...?

= CGing the darn pic =
Outlining was fun. Lots of lines. But when it got to colouring it I died many times. Started off with the fairy, then the elf, then the vampire...you can see how the cging changed kinda...I think... >__> CG-ing this was fun most of the time but other times, it just killed me. Especially the colour schemes because I didn't choose the colours beforehand D8

Vampire's colour schemes and such were the most clear in my head so it hasn't changed much. The hair was originally going to be black but I decided to go dark blue instead.

I came across the fairy's outfit colours by accident - I was mucking around with the gradients and decided it looked alright XD Originally meant to be green. Lol, I had to fix the fairy's skin tone because it looked too grey XD ...zombie fairy...

Elf was a bugger. It was hard not to make it look like a Uno card!! I wanted blue, but then the pic overall looked too blue. I tried green and ti had too much green. I didn't really want to use red at the beginning because i thought it would be too red as well since the phoenix was red/yellow/orange so I tried blue, green and red and ended up with a uno-card-elf. Since i couldn't decide for myself, i asked James what colour i should use XD And yeah he chose red, so red it was XD

Phoenix - buggered. Fire = no. Lol

= Other stuff =
Design on the vampire's outfit: Lol randomly decided I'd add that in at 3 in the morning XD I think I was zombified for the rest of the day...
Stars: Cookies to anyone who noticed the different colours before they read this. Made them different colours to make ti seem more real (?).
